A report of a stolen utility trailer at a house on Antler Lane, led to the arrest of one Washington man, according to a press release from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.

The report of the trailer’s location came in on Sept. 18 and after examining the enclosed trailer, investigators followed up with a warrant for Jason Ray Moore, 33, of Antler Lane, the release stated. The trailer’s identification number had been removed and contact with the trailer’s manufacturer revealed the trailer had been reported stolen in Pitt County, according to the release.

Moore was arrested on Sept. 19 and was held on a $1,000 secured bond. The stolen trailer was returned to its owner.
