Come cheer on the two legged and four legged walkers on Washington’s beautiful waterfront for the Humane Society of Beaufort County’s Waterfront Dog Walk at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Gale force winds forced the HSBC to reschedule PetFest 2014 in the form of this smaller event.

According to a press release, the event will be a more due to the organization not having the entire park reserved.

According to the press release, pet owners that are not pre-registered can register that day; there will be prizes for the person who brings in the most pledges; the $25 registration fee includes a t-shirt and goody bag; people and pet caricatures will be available for a donation to HSBC; and drinks, chips and baked goods will be available.

The organization asks that the public come out for the event and support its cause.
