To the Editor:

The recent editorial highlighting Ron Clark was so refreshing and hit the nail on the head. Maybe Ron Clark is successful because he demands high standards. Maybe Ron Clark’s student are successful because they are expected to uphold and abide by those high standards. Maybe the parents of Ron Clark’s students understand and are held accountable to uphold and enforce those high standards in the home if they want their child to remain at the Ron Clark Academy. Maybe the education system in this county, this state and this country should sign up for the class that Ron Clark is teaching. I would suggest starting with the Essential 55.
