To the Editor:
I’m not sure what professor decided that a three-lane highway from Hackney Avenue to the 15th Street crossing was a good idea, but every afternoon during the week the traffic backs up from the Fifth Street stoplight almost to Hackney Avenue. It sometimes takes six to seven cycles of that light to make it to Bridge Street so you can get off of the three-lane and proceed to your destination.
