To the Editor:
Recently our neighbor, Timmy Fraley, suffered severe burns from an accident and had to be air lifted to to Chapel Hill for burn treatment. He will be in the hospital for about one month.
Realizing the burden and hardship this will pose on his family, Madison Page Blackburn, daughter of Graham and Page Blackburn, canvassed our neighborhood for contributions to help offset the costs to the Fraley family relative to this accident.
Madison, aka MP, did an awesome job and the neighbors contributed in excess of what Madison had originally hoped for. Madison should be commented for her caring actions and we, her neighbors and especially her parents are very proud of this teenager and what she has done.
