Arts of the Pamlico hosts 2019 student show

As has become tradition this time of year, Arts of the Pamlico is showcasing the work of budding young artists from schools throughout Beaufort County.

The 2019 Student Art Show is currently featured in the Turnage Theatre gallery and is open to the public through April 7.

Represented in this year’s show are Bath Elementary School, Chocowinity Primary School, Eastern Elementary School, John Small Elementary School, John Cotten Tayloe Elementary School, Northeast Elementary School, P.S. Jones Middle School, S.W. Snowden Elementary School, Southside High School and Northside High School.

Students share their talent using several styles, including paintings, drawings, photography, digital images, collages and sculptures. Materials used include acrylic paints, colored pencils, crayons and pastels.

Participation in the show was open to all students enrolled in public and private schools throughout Beaufort County as well as local home-schooled students.
