The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations have concluded operations at the residence of Cameron Smith of Washington.  More than 50 pieces of evidence have been collected for processing.

Sheriff Hammonds would like to thank all the local, state, and federal agencies that assisted in the response and investigation.

No further information will be released until the investigation is complete.
