One killed, two injured in Friday wreck

A Washington man was killed Friday in a wreck on Highway 264 when his vehicle collided into a disabled car that was being hooked up to be towed away.
The incident was reported at 5:53 p.m. and happened in front of Pecheles Ford, Toyota car dealership.
Paul Allen “P.A.” Clark, Jr., 80, was taken to Vidant Beaufort Hospital where he died of his injuries.
Marcus J. House and Robert Mozingo were injured in the wreck. Both were taken to Vidant Beaufort Hospital.
House was treated and released. Mozingo was transferred to Vidant Pitt Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Clark’s funeral service will be held at First Church of Christ of Washington Monday at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.
