Introduction to Computers offered at BCCC

The Division of Continuing Education at Beaufort County Community College will offer an introductory class in the use of computers 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning March 12 and ending May 2 in Room 822 of Building 8 on the BCCC campus.
In this class, designed for the area’s older residents, Instructor Beth Buck will cover topics including basic computer terminology, use of a keyboard and a computer mouse and tips on computer usage including basic Internet searches and emails.
The registration fee is $120. A technology fee is $5. The registration fee may be waived for those over 65 years old for one class per academic semester. The technology fee is charged to all participants.

Students may register for the class by calling 940-6375 or in person in room 802 of Building 8 on the BCCC campus. BCCC accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
