Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

Eleanor
Eleanor is a shorthair grey, buff and black, 2-year-old Tabby. She is very calm, loving, super clean and a lover of laps and purring. Eleanor is in need of a good forever home and her only request is that she is the only cat in the household.

Queenie and Farrah
Queenie and Farrah are 5-month-old Labrador-Sheppard mix sisters. They are very sweet and loving babies that love to play, fetch, nuzzle, cuddle and have their bellies scratched. Both puppies have soft coats; Queenie’s is black with tan accents and Farrah’s is all black. Both pups would be great with any kind of family, young or old.
