The assistance includes a state-designed fund that can help pay one’s mortgage while ones look for work or completes job training. A person may qualify if he or she lost his or her job through no fault of his or her own or is a returning veteran.

Greenville Housing Development Corporation is a HUD-approved agency that has helped people in the area since 1982. The agency serves Beaufort County residents.
