Teens shot in Washington

Two teens suffered gunshot wounds in Washington over the weekend.

According to a press release from the Washington Police Department, reports of shots fired in the Pennsylvania Avenue area came in around 3:30 p.m. While police were investigating in the area, Vidant Beaufort Hospital reported that two subjects, ages 16 and 13, had walked into the hospital, seeking treatment from what appeared to be single gunshot wounds, the release said. The injuries were not life threatening.
