I attended the Aug 5. county commissioners meeting. I was unimpressed.

Hood Richardson has no problem calling those who disagree with him names. Additionally, Mr Richardson comes up with facts that are baseless, wrong and/or made up. He throws out numbers without knowing what he’s talking about and in a nutshell is a wrench in the gears of the operation of Beaufort County. Mr. Stan Deatherage is nothing more than a puppet to Mr. Richardson and simply echos everything Hood says, wants, does. Why does Mr. Richardson act so childish? Is his goal in life to disrupt the proceedings whenever he doesn’t get his way, which of late is all the time?
Why doesn’t he retire and let someone who cares about Beaufort County become a commissioner?
