To the Editor:

This is a commendation for Vidant Internal Medicine Center in Washington. I do not know if I will be able to adequately and appropriately say what is in my heart, but I will at least make an attempt.

I am so appreciative and thankful for the extraordinary, excellent, professional care that I receive from Dr. Frederick Teixeira and his staff. They work very long hours and have very full daily schedules, yet when I have an urgent need to be seen, they manage to lengthen those long hours and accommodate me.

From the receptionists to the lab technicians, to the appointment person, Pat, and her helper, there is a pleasant and helpful group professionals that help us patients in whatever our needs are.

The nursing staff makes me feel like I am a member of their family—they care how I feel!

I am so thankful to be in the care of Dr. Teixeira as no other doctor I have ever had has given me the extraordinary care that he has and I am most grateful for this.

I trust all of his patients will take time to say “thank you” to this very outstanding group of people as we are most fortunate to have them!
