Looking at the Jan 3. issue, after looking at the deeds of transfer, it looks like Hood Richardson was right; it’s a done deal. The county has bought 10 acres of property in the industrial park in Chocowinity. The ones who have voted for the jail have already bought land. I hope it comes out of their pockets. We don’t need a new jail. We just need to add more beds.
