To the Editor:

The Lord still performs miracles and I am living proof He has done it again. The Lord has brought me through the ordeal of having a massive heart attack and triple bypass open-heart surgery. I want to thank the staff at Vidant Beaufort Hospital emergency department and the Heart Institute of Pitt County where Dr. Alwair, his team, the nurses and care partners on the second, fourth and fifth floors made my stay a memorable experience of comfort and care. They treated me with utmost tenderness and were cordial and responsive to my family and guests. Now, to my church family, the barbers, beauticians, all other church who had me on their prayer list, family friends and to all persons who prayed for my family and me and have given your support in some way, I say thank you and God bless you from the top, middle and bottom of my heart. We love you all and please continue to pray as I recover.
