Sound Off, Sept. 30

Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.

About the ducks and the geese and the mallards on Third Street, I was just trying to save the geese and the ducks’ life by suggesting we move them or erect a fence or barrier because many people do not stop or slow down. If I got a car on my tail, I will not be able to stop. I will have to run them over. And just how many ducks and geese have we seen ran over in that Third Street area? If it comes down to it, the fowl or the humans, the humans are going to win. They’re in a car.

It’s nice to see it finally said in print, “Poor drainage design” about Iron Creek drainage problems.
