I like reading Bartow Houston’s column. This morning, Feb. 5, I’m wondering if someone could help me understand what he was writing about today. Maybe Bartow could write another column and explain what his legitimate question is, because it sounds interesting.

I think the Daily News should be taken to the woodshed for printing a letter to the editor from some idiot named Lawrence who continuously characterize military people who go to sea as drunken sailors.

I have been thinking over Fred Bonner’s column on cats killing small prey. I think that is nature, and that we are all God’s creatures. I hope when all the rifle-toting hunters with dogs and the people that raise the beautiful quails and doves that mate for life combined for the pleasure of  hunters have answers at the Pearly Gates. St. Peter will ask: “And you killed these beautiful creatures for what reason?” Have you ever heard of karma? It will come back and bite you.
