Shawn Bryant has extended an invitation to all Washington natives and current residents. He is throwing a homecoming for the city from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Beebe Memorial Park and Bridge Street near the Boys & Girls Club.
“It’s basically a community day,” Bryant said. “I thought it would be nice to have one thing for everyone to look forward to this summer.”
Bryant will provide food and drinks at the event. He also booked a deejay.
Bryant said there would be plenty of activities for children. He also planned to have a basketball tournament.
Those who plan to attend should bring a lawn chair. Bryant will provide limited seating.
