We hear a lot of talk about legalizing gay marriage. How about common-law marriage between a man and a woman? It’s not legal in North Carolina as it is in several other states. I say let that be legal here.

I want to thank the paper very much. I see on Saturday, they have listed all the NFL results, the standings, points for, points against and so on, which is nothing. The season hasn’t started. But you can’t put in anything about Nascar. For shame. This is North Carolina.
