Politicians are out of touch with their constituents. Let’s try this on for size: swapping lives. Take one Washington politician and one middle-income person and swap lives for 30 days. After 30 days, will the politician have a better understanding of how his or her constituent has to live from day to day? Now, take your new-found knowledge and apply it in Washington.

I knew from the day we moved in here seven years ago when our mail carrier came and introduced herself, her name Yvette Norman, I knew I could trust her with my life. I just had that sense about her. You know, you never know what God’s gonna ask of you the day when you get up, but she certainly fulfilled her role that day and she’s just a wonderful person.

The nice cops were out investigating accidents, calls by the nice people that don’t know how to approach a four-way intersection without instructions. So, learn to drive. Have a nice life, thank you.
