We all need to thank the gas-station owner in Washington for keeping gas prices down. I went to Greenville the other morning. We are paying $3.30 per gallon for gas. Greenville is $3.45. Let the station owner know how much you appreciate his thoughtfulness. Fifteen cents a gallon is a huge difference.

 

Why don’t we hire some unemployed veterans to watch over our schools? We could show our appreciation by giving them jobs and protecting our kids at the same time.

 

I was interested in your comments about the “sweet deal” of the platforms proposed by PTRF. Not long ago, I seem to remember some tree-huggers who were concerned about the affect that piers have on fish because they block off the sun. Gosh, I wonder about these platforms.

 

How dare Seth Edwards challenge Commissioner Hood Richardson by simply citing facts. Doesn’t he realize political speech is protected and politicians can say anything they want, whether it’s true or not? Come on, Seth.
