Absolutely amazing. Now, we need a committee of 12 to tell us whether to get rid of limited voting. Common sense tells you it’s not representative and get rid of it, especially when one individual can get elected with 10 percent of the vote. Hence, the incompetence we have seen over the years on the Board of Commissioners. Let’s hope we don’t end up with another camel. For you that don’t know, that’s a horse that was designed by a committee.

Republicans have a few seats in Raleigh, and now they are changing unemployment benefits and making we poor people suffer. Unemployment benefits have been 26 weeks for long as I can remember, over 40 years. Now, they’re trying to cut it. We never had no cut in benefits. What’s wrong with these Republicans? Don’t they know we poor people have to live, too?

Congratulations to Jim Chesnutt. I think Beaufort County owes him, National Spinning and Caron a huge, huge honor. We need to thank him generously.
