This response is in conjunction with the comment that was made in the Washington Daily News in reference to the noise and gathering at the waterfront. Where else is there for the youth of Washington to hang out with their friends? I have two teenage boys and from their accounts, the Washington Police Department constantly patrols the area. And believe me, they do issue tickets for any violations that these teenagers are doing. I don’t believe that the waterfront should be enjoyed by just a certain select group of citizens. But I believe that teenagers have the right to hang out down there with their friends just as much as any other age group that’s around the city of Washington.
